It is known that Thailand is the first country in South East Asia to legalize medical cannabis this February 2019 – “Narcotics Act of 2019.” This act is an updated and reformed version of the the Narcotics Act of 1979, which considered cannabis as a class-5 illegal. Additionally, have enlisted 39 registered medical conditions that can be subjected to cannabis therapy.
And recently, according to reports, an eatery in Chao Phya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital in Prachin Buri have been serving the happy meal just this month of January 2021. Pakakrong Kwankao, the project leader at the hospital, even claimed that the leaf can improve a patient’s appetite and can make people sleep well.
Additionally, the Public Health Minister claimed that together with the Thai Deputy Education Minister have developed recipes, cosmetics, travel products infused with the medical infused cannabis. This was claimed just yesterday (January 20, 2021), as told to the Associated Press.
